This textile rendition of Edinburgh Castle was a commission. The Scottish clients wanted a winter scene, featuring this iconic building, with a snow laden sky. The castle certainly has a grand and imposing presence in this landscape. The use of a floral fabric for the castle walls is an unexpected choice.
