Is there any creature more beautiful or captivating? Capturing the connection of eye contact that can stay with you long after the encounter is over, this giraffe has seen you.

I lived in Kenya, in the region of Mount Kenya for two years. Reticulated giraffe were a common siting on safari drives, which belies their endangered status. These elegant, silent animals are captivating in their movements, and their markings are unique to each individual. This portrait is my homage to this spectacular species
