Part of my 'Low maintenance' series, and the 3rd of a cactus trio (the first 2 have sold) created with a collage of varied printed cotton design pieces which have been embroidered to give form and texture.

The contemporary design background fabric echoes the spines of the cactus which are captured in stitch.
