The Accuser

Description

This bear gazes at us, and asks what next?

He relies on sea ice for many aspects of his life, and the ongoing loss of this habitat resulting from climate change threatens his existence.

An image that hopes for change and a better future

His towering presence is both vulnerable and strong. To see a polar bear in its natural habitat is a dream that I am very unlikely to fulfil, largely because I am terribly sea sick. Fortunately for me, Wendy Collens is happy to share her photographs from arctic travels for my inspiration. Thank you Wendy
