He relies on sea ice for many aspects of his life, and the ongoing loss of this habitat resulting from climate change threatens his existence.

His towering presence is both vulnerable and strong. To see a polar bear in its natural habitat is a dream that I am very unlikely to fulfil, largely because I am terribly sea sick.
