Toucan

I have always loved toucans since being very young. There was a particular story book that was read to me called 'Two Can Toucan' and my fascination with the large coloured beak of these stunning birds stayed with me.

This particular Toco Toucan lives in Costa Rica and a photograph taken by Wendy Collens was my inspiration for this vibrant piece of art.

Created with a collage of multiple fabric designs which have then been embroidered , it is a riot of colour and joy.
