This portrait aims to convey the mystery of what is going on behind the eyes of this wistful horse.

The artwork was inspired by a  horse that I first met in Dubai some years ago. He is a powerful statuesque Arab stallion. The quiet strength and gentle spirit of this soul captivated my attention.

I am fascinated by the relationship between horses and their owners. Isn't it amazing how horses can read people and work in partnership for a common aim?
