This mother and calf elephant composition was inspired by a visit to Aberdares National Park with my mum. It transpired to be the last holiday we were to take together. I will never forget the joy of watching the elephants at the water hole by her side.
A mother's role is one of protection for her offspring. I was fortunate to be able to rely on that security for the whole of my mums life.
